My Reflection

I studied about making group presentation and blog. It is difficult for me to make PowerPoint's slides. I think the topic of telling about Japan is good topic. Our group had researched about four seasons of Japan. I talked about spring season. I think the presentation of world's autumn festivals was interesting. I learned many festivals from my research and from other group's presentations. I think the last topic presentation is difficult for me because it had many hours for researching and making speech. However I realized the details of NUFS from every group's presentations. I learned that speaking loud voice, eye contact and pace are important when I speech. I also learned introduction and conclusion are needed to show the group's idea. I would like to try to make better speech and enjoy presentation.

The Double Degree Program: TOEFL

I'm going to talk about grade.
If you are planning to study abroad with double degrees program, you need your TOEFL test scores more than 550. Do you know the TOEFL? The TOEFL test is the most widely accepted English-language test in the world. The TOEFL measures how well you read, listen, speak and write in English and use these skills together in the university classroom. For example, you might read a passage or listen to a lecture, and then write or speak about what you learned. The test is given in English, has 4 sections and takes about 4 1/2 hours.

Guy Fawkes

I'd like to tell you about the nursery rhymes. These words are used in Battle Bonfire Boys who carry on the tradition of bonfire at their annual event in Sussex. They have honour of the longest countinuous Guy Fawkes bonfire celebration in the world.
Remember, remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder treason and plot
We see no reason
Why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot!

Guy Fawkes, guy t'was his intent
To blow up king and parliament
Three score barrels were laid below
To prove old England's overthrow

By god's mercy he was catch'd
With a darkened lantern and burnig match
So, holler boys, holler boys, Let the bells ring
Holler boys, holler boys, God save the king

And what shall we do with him?
Burn him!

This nursery rhyme, the Gunpowder Plot is introduced early into the young minds of children throughout the United Kingdom.

Spring Season

There are four distict sasons in Jpan. I'm going to introduce about spring season. When winter is over, it gets warmer little by little and spring comes together with cherry blossoms blooming out. Many people go out for a walk to see the cherry blossoms. Cherry blossom is a national flower in Japan. It is a custom for many Japanese people to sit under the cherry blossoms and eat lunch, snacks and just enjoy the view with friends, family and colleagues. In many places, cherry blossoms are illuminated so that you will also see many people under the trees even at night. Try and find your own favorite cherry blossom viewing spot.
